Chocolate Chip Treasures

This recipe comes from a client's wife. He brought them in for his "graduation" group and was kind enough to get me the recipe. These cookies are SO stinking good! They're like the double delicious cookie bars on crack. I think I ate two... or three... and probably would've had more if I had a glass of milk. They're unlike any other cookie I've had (due to the graham crackers).

Chocolate Chip Treasures

1 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs,
1/2 cup flour, 2 tsp baking powder,
one 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk,
1/2 cup butter [ softened ] ,
1 1/3 cup coconut,
1 cup chopped walnuts.
1 10oz pkg of chocolate chips.

Preheat oven 375, in bowl mix graham crumbs, flour and baking powder. In a mixer bowl beat condensed milk and butter until smooth. Add graham mixture and mix well. Stir in coconut, chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon on to ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Store loosely covered at room temp.

  2. Those sound really good. If I made them it would be just Carly and I eating them as nobody else really likes coconut. That might not be such a bad thing according to what I read here.....
