Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cream together:

½ c. margarine

½ c. shortening (butter flavored Crisco works best)

Then add, creaming:

1 c. sugar

1 c. brown sugar, packed

2 eggs

1 tsp. Vanilla

Sift:

1 ½ c. flour

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking soda

Fold sifted ingredients into creamed mixture.

Stir in:

3 c. oats

1 c. chocolate chips

Mix well, bake on greased cookie sheets at 350*, until done (maybe 8-10 minutes).
